THURMONT MINISTERIUM ADJUSTS TO MEET CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY

The Thurmont Food Bank is open to all residents of Thurmont, Lewistown, Sabillasville, Graceham, Rocky Ridge, Creagerstown and close by areas.  Operating hours are Tuesdays from 5-7:30 p.m. & Fridays from 4-6 p.m.  Service is drive through only.  Recipients will receive their food while remaining in their vehicles.  Follow the Thurmont Food Bank on FaceBook for the latest updates.

The Thurmont Ministerium cooperates with the Emmitsburg-based Seton Center to provide help with basic human needs. Some of the services provided include:  help with overdue utility bills, rent assistance, medical expenses through the Catoctin Community Medical Fund, and other services.  Low-income residents seeking help with can learn more at the Seton Center website, or by calling 301-447-6102.

The Thurmont Ministerium is a non-profit organization that relies on donations in order to continue these programs that assist our friends and neighbors.  The need for our services is likely to grow in the coming months.  We would be grateful for any donations you can make during this time of state and national emergency.  To donate, please mail your checks to:
